University career development centers play an important role in preparing students for the labor market by providing specialized training programs that help them develop their personal and professional skills and understand the requirements of today’s jobs.

The services offered by career development centers include organizing training programs, career fairs and employment events, career counseling, and regular newsletters featuring training and job opportunities. They also support students in preparing their résumés and developing the skills needed for job interviews.

In this context, the weekly employment bulletins issued by Mansoura University represent an important means of making employment and training opportunities accessible to students and graduates. By highlighting available opportunities and connecting young people with the needs of the labor market, these bulletins help students and graduates continuously monitor and pursue professional opportunities.

These efforts are carried out under the patronage of Professor Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, with the participation and support of the university’s Career Development Centers network. The network’s executive management is overseen by Dr. Mona Abu El-Ezz, while Dr. Tarek El-Behy serves as Director of the Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Freelancing Unit.

The centers also promote a culture of entrepreneurship and freelancing, encouraging students to transform their ideas into projects and ventures. This approach opens up diverse career pathways for young people beyond conventional employment.

Mansoura University’s Career Development Centers represent an example of this integrated approach through the training programs, professional activities, employment events, weekly bulletins, and opportunities they provide for students and graduates to connect with employers. These efforts are complemented by entrepreneurship and freelancing programs, contributing to students’ and graduates’ career readiness and strengthening the connection between their skills and the evolving needs of the labor market.

These initiatives underscore the important role played by career development centers in preparing graduates who possess not only academic knowledge, but also practical skills and the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the labor market.
